About Buildsmith® · Design · Build · Furnish · UAE
Three studios. One Buildsmith®. One signature, one delivery date.
A vertically-integrated design and build, furniture trading and landscape practice headquartered in Dubai — delivering villa renovation, apartment renovation, commercial fit-out, shell-and-core completion, school and nursery furniture supply, garden renovation and swimming pool installation across the UAE under one accountable contract. All approvals, all completion certificates, on-date opening — written into the contract.
Our Story
We started Buildsmith® because the seams were the failure point.
Every UAE design-and-build project we'd ever seen fail had failed at the same place — the handover between disciplines. Architect to contractor. Contractor to joinery shop. Joinery shop to MEP. MEP to landscaper. Landscaper to furniture supplier. Each handover lost a week, a percentage point of quality, and a clear chain of accountability. By the time the project landed on opening day, nobody owned the snag list.
Buildsmith® was built to remove those seams. One contract. One named project manager. One signature. We hold the architect, the structural engineer, the MEP designer, the joinery workshop, the trades, the landscape crews, the pool team and the furniture manufacturing line — all on the same payroll, in the same building, working from the same drawings. When a wall detail needs a decision on site, the designer who drew it walks across the floor — not across the city.
From a single Dubai workshop we now deliver across three specialist studios — Residential (villa and apartment renovation, kitchens, bathrooms, garden, pool), Commercial (office fit-out, retail, F&B, education, warehouse, shell-and-core), and Trading (school and nursery furniture, custom office furniture, soft elements, child learning and development resources) — covering every authority pathway in the country: DM, DDA, DMCC, Trakhees, DCD, DEWA, plus Emaar, Nakheel, Damac master-developer NOCs and KHDA, ADEK, SPEA education compliance. We don't outsource the parts that matter — and we don't disappear after handover.
What We Believe
Four operating principles.
One Contract, One Owner
You should never have to broker peace between your designer and your contractor. We hold both. One signature, one phone number, one accountability.
Specify Once, Deliver Right
The most expensive moment in any project is the one where a design intent gets diluted on site. Our designers and our trades sit in the same building.
Time Is the Material
Schools must open. Restaurants must trade. Homes must be lived in. Time is the project material we protect most aggressively — through programming, not through shortcuts.
Quality Is Owned, Not Outsourced
Our joinery is fabricated in our workshop. Our landscape is delivered by our crews. Subcontracting dilutes accountability — we keep work in-house wherever it matters.
Our Approach
Disciplined design. Operational delivery.
A four-stage method designed to compress the cycle from brief to handover without compromising design integrity or build quality.
Discovery
Site survey, brief development, feasibility study. The hour spent here saves a week on site.
Design
Concept, technical drawings, material specification, 3D visualization. Sign-off before we order.
Build
In-house fabrication, on-site execution, weekly progress reporting against fixed milestones.
Handover
Snagging, training, documentation, warranty. Optional ongoing maintenance contract.
