Buildsmith® delivers kitchen renovation in Dubai as a single accountable design-and-build undertaking — not a showroom selling doors and disclaiming the install. From compact apartment kitchens in Marina Promenade, JBR, Downtown and Business Bay to full villa kitchens in Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, Arabian Ranches, Tilal Al Ghaf, Dubai Hills, Damac Hills and Jumeirah Golf Estates — every kitchen we deliver is engineered for the cook, not the catalogue. Our scope routinely covers custom workshop joinery, German modular kitchens (Leicht, SieMatic, Nolte, Häcker, Bauformat, Nobilia), Italian designer kitchens (Boffi, Poliform, Valcucine, Arclinea, Modulnova), and our signature stainless-steel villa kitchens in 304 / 316 marine-grade steel. Appliance packages span TEKA, BOSCH, Zanussi, Miele, Gaggenau, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Smeg and La Cornue — all sourced through authorised UAE dealers with full warranty pass-through.
Wall relocation, open-plan conversions, kitchen-island repositioning
Where your kitchen renovation includes wall relocation, an open-plan conversion from closed-galley to peninsula or island layout, or a structural opening to integrate the kitchen with the living-dining room, the project moves from cabinetry replacement to engineered construction. We deliver structural drawings stamped by a registered engineer where load-bearing changes are involved, submit to Dubai Municipality (DM/DDA) or Trakhees for building modification permits, and coordinate DEWA reload for the additional electrical capacity that island cooktops, induction conversions and double-oven installations require. The same in-house team executes the work — there is no handover between "designer" and "builder", no vendor pingpong when a structural detail needs a decision on site.
Carcass, hinge cycle, worktop substrate — the engineering that makes a kitchen last
The difference between a kitchen that lasts five years and one that lasts twenty is rarely the door-front. It's the carcass material (moisture-resistant 18mm board minimum — never standard MDF in UAE humidity), the hinge cycle rating (200,000 cycles minimum on a daily-use kitchen — Blum and Hettich are the benchmark), the drawer system (soft-close ball-bearing runners with full-extension capability), and the worktop substrate (engineered quartz over plywood substrate, never chipboard). Buildsmith® specifies all four parameters in writing as part of the scope — not as catalogue marketing copy.
Authority pathway — DM, DDA, OAM, Trakhees, DUGAS, sequenced from day one
The bodies you'll meet during a Dubai kitchen renovation are your Owner Association Manager (OAM), Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), Trakhees for Palm Jumeirah and Nakheel communities, DEWA for electrical reload (induction hobs, double ovens, integrated steam), and DUGAS or Emirates Gas for piped-gas connections. Buildsmith® holds approved-installer status across these bodies and submits, follows up, attends inspections and closes certifications under our own scope.
